Maxines Shape Up Challenge 2014 News & Facts

Similar to the process in previous years, participants in Maxines Shape Up Challenge 2014 will need to sign up and send in a ‘Before’ image before beginning the 12 week duration of the challenge. Following the 3 month duration of the challenge, women will take ‘After’ shots to show off their transformations and send them in to be reviewed and voted on by the public. This will whittle down the entrants to a shortlist of the top 30 transformations who will then be reviewed by an expert panel of Amino Active team members who will select a top 10 group. Final placings and the Grand Champion will then be decided by the same panel who will announce the results at the Gala dinner. To make the competition fair for all, Maxines Shape Up Challenge will again be conducted in accordance with anti-doping policies of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The participants will have the opportunity to join the challenge as a private or public entrants as well as an individual or with a group.

Maxines Shape Up Challenge 2014 Diet Plan & Nutrition

As with the Maxs Muscle Up Challenge, participants will be provided with a range of basic and more tailored dietary and nutrition advice as well as plans to assist them through the 12 weeks. Unlike the men’s challenge, the diet plans in the Shape Up Challenge are geared towards only one goal; ‘shaping’ and ‘toning’. However, there is a wealth of information available from official coaches, ambassadors and other participants in an online forum to help answer your questions and keep your nutrition on track.

Maxines Shape Up Challenge 2014 Training & Workouts

Training and workouts are perhaps one of the toughest elements of the Shape Up Challenge and indeed any transformation challenge. Luckily Maxines and the Amino Active management team have ensured that you aren’t left in the lurch when it comes to this aspect. The official Challenge website contains detailed training plans to help participants from beginners to the more advanced in structuring workout plans to help them achieve quality results during the 12 weeks. On top of that, registered participants will be provided personal advice from coaches, ambassadors and a collection of other participants on the large online forum available to registrants only.

Maxines Shape Up Challenge 2014 Supplements

During the Shape Up Challenge period, participants are required to use Maxines or Maxs products and supplements. While Maxines doesn’t have a huge range of supplement with only three products; Maxines Burn Protein Powder, Maxines Burn Protein Bars and Maxines Burn Cookies, participants in the challenge can easily use Maxs products as well, which while geared towards the male market can still be used by women. As with training and nutrition, there is plenty of information on the website and guidance from the Amino Active team and other Challenge entrants on supplements so you can make the most informed choice during the 12 weeks.

Maxines Shape Up Challenge 2014 Cost

Many past participants in the Maxines Shape Up Challenge have noted perceived cost as being one of the main and initial deterrents of not registering for the Challenge. However it actually doesn’t cost all that much to make some of the most important decisions and changes you will make for lifelong health. Most of your training can easily be done for free in the great outdoors using freely accessible equipment in parks and around the neighbourhood. And eating healthier is cheaper than you think, especially when you have some expert advice from qualified coaches and past and present participants. Overall the comparatively small costs incurred over the 12 weeks pales in comparison to the amazing and positive lifelong changes you’ll experience.
